| today was a fun adventure, we woke up at four and drove down to challis. ran/hiked/climbed mount borah. towards the beginning we just power hiked up. when we were about 1 mile out and 1200ft up (yeah its freakin steep) we took a little break and then ran down to pick up the rest of the group. this cycle was repeted until the top. the view at the top was incredible you could literally see every mountain in idaho. on the way back we took an alternate route leeding down a scree slope. we got down and had about 9 miles and 7000 feet of elevation to the top and about 5000 down. top elevation was 12667 ft

| went to black canyon for our hill repeats. we ran 4miles up until we found an ok hill... it was really technical so it was hard to go fast, but we were at altitude so we couldnt go fast anyways. i did 2x 5min hard up and jog back down. after, we ran back. it was a cool run because it was right by the snake river so it was like the amazon jungle. also, it was fun because it had like 6 creek crossings in it...

| went to the tetons and ran Hurricane pass. up to the pass has 10 miles of hard climbing. on the way up we dumped our water that we were carrying out and drank from glacier streams. there was still alot of snow when we got to the top so we mostly just slid down the snowfields, it was super fun. The last two miles i bonked because i only ate 5 crackers durring the run, but i pushed through it and i was fine. when we were done we swam in ice cold jennys lake. after that we went to a buffet and devoured all there food...

| pioneer trek. pushed a freakin handcart. i would have wrather ran. braden and i ended up pushing the handcart the whole time since the women in our group were weaklings.

| paced hannah, and my dad for sections of speed goat. i ran from the top of hidden peak down to pacific mine back up to larrys hole. so that was 14 miles, then i rode the chair lift up to hidden peak again. i got there just in time to see josh fly down the mountain for the last 5 miles of the race. i ran down the ridge of hidden peak to see kale. i went back up with them to the aid station. i went down to do that same thing i did with kale for hannah and my dad. i paced the last 5 miles with my dad. karl through a couple nasty hills the last little bit. i am excieted to race big sky 50k and speed goat 50 hopefully soon...
